Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Albirr Quran learning portal ("Service"), operated by Albirr Quran ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Albirr Quran provides online Quran recitation, memorization, Tajweed, and Islamic studies instruction to students, delivered through live video classes and a personal learning portal (homework, memorization history, class schedules, and program instructions).
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
The Service is intended to be used by students of any age, with the understanding that where a student is a minor, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for creating and managing the account, providing accurate information, supervising the child's use of the Service, and agreeing to these Terms and our Privacy Policy on the student's behalf.
You agree to provide accurate, current information when you register and to keep your login credentials confidential.
3. Enrollment, Trial Classes, and Payment
- New accounts begin in a pending review status. We will contact you regarding a trial class, program details, and payment.
- Payment is currently collected manually via e-transfer. Full access to the portal is granted after your trial class is complete and payment is confirmed.
- We do not use an automated payment processor; no card or banking information is collected or stored by the Service itself.
- Fees, class frequency, and scheduling are communicated directly and may be adjusted with reasonable notice.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Class cancellations, rescheduling, and refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at quranlearning.albirr@gmail.com as far in advance as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a class.
5. Code of Conduct
Students and parents/guardians agree to attend classes respectfully, treat instructors and other students with courtesy, and use the portal only for its intended educational purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Code of Conduct or otherwise misuse the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
Homework, learning materials, and other content provided through the Service are for the personal educational use of the enrolled student and their family only, and may not be redistributed, resold, or published without our written permission.
7. Third-Party Services
Live classes are conducted over Google Meet, and class scheduling may use Google Calendar. Your use of these third-party services during a class is also subject to Google's own terms of service. We are not responsible for outages or issues originating from third-party providers we rely on to deliver the Service (including our hosting, database, file storage, and email delivery providers).
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Albirr Quran shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms or non-payment. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
