Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Quran and Tajweed classes at Albirr Quran. Can't find your answer? Email us.

What is Albirr Quran?

Albirr Quran is an online learning portal for Quran recitation, memorization, Tajweed, and Islamic studies, taught one-on-one or in small class groups over video call.

Do you teach kids, or adults too?

Both. We teach students of all ages, from young children just learning the Arabic letters to adults working on Tajweed or memorization. Classes are matched to each student’s current recitation level.

My child (or I) can’t read Arabic yet — can we still start?

Yes. Complete beginners are very welcome. We start from the Arabic letters and their sounds and build up from there at a pace that fits the student.

Do you teach Tajweed specifically?

Yes, Tajweed (the rules of correct Quran recitation) is a core part of what we teach, alongside recitation practice, memorization, and Islamic lessons such as the seerah and stories of the Prophets.

How do I get started?

Sign up on our website, and we will schedule a free trial class so you can meet your teacher and see how classes work before committing. Trial classes and regular sessions run on Sunday and Wednesday (EST).

What do I need for classes?

Just a device with a camera and microphone and a stable internet connection. Classes are held over Google Meet, and the link is provided for every session.

How does payment work?

Payment is arranged directly with your teacher after your trial class, via e-transfer. Once payment is confirmed, your weekly class schedule is set up in your student portal.

Can I track progress and homework online?

Yes. Your student portal shows upcoming and past classes, homework assignments with due dates, and a session-by-session log of what has been covered in Quran, Tajweed, and Islamic studies.
